Grace Community Mission, is a newborn- friendly, safe haven for those not previously acquainted with the traditional church service and operation. It's informal, trimmed down of ritual but chock full of healthy ingredients. Lot's of singing, praise and worship, prayer, and a heaping portion of the word, provides a good balance of spiritual exercise and the nutrition needed for our babies to wind up "strong in the Lord"! Loving and patient staff provide good examples combined with prayerful support to get newcomers up to speed regarding what it means to be a true follower of Jesus Christ.

The Grace Community is a body of believers who are passionate and intentional about the transformation of God-fearing people into dedicated disciples of Jesus Christ.
Our purpose is to be an effective part of Christ’s body and to build it up in love and good works; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that we might be filled with all the fullness of God.”
(Eph. 3: 10-19).

Our desire is that each person touched by The Grace Community, experience an effective presentation of the Gospel of God’s grace and an opportunity to receive Christ as one’s personal Savior, and that each person making such a commitment be effectively discipled, enabling a walk in obedience to Christ, balanced with the Word of God, prayer, fellowship, and witness, with Christ as Lord.
Meet Our Pastor!

Douglas A. Smith was born and raised in Rochester, N.Y
After traveling the world as an professional musician, he was radically saved and called into ministry.
On February 12, 2012, Pastor Smith opened the doors of Grace Community Mission Ministries. That ministry continues to grow and has expanded to two campuses.
Pastor Smith has set the tone for worship at Grace Community Fellowship and the latest campus, Grace Community East in Newark NY; incorporating the principles of exuberant worship and praise into the daily lives of believers.
His magnetic smile and gracious nature continue to draw souls, crossing multicultural lines, eliminating stigmas and forming positive faith inspired relationships. He can often be found spending quality time with his wife Cynthia and his young children, as he continues to spread the love of God and the good news of Jesus Christ.
